Location and Services Update Sept – Dec 2026
As The Old School Community Centre is temporarily closed for refurbishment, our office drop-in service will continue from a temporary portacabin in the Car Park. It will remain open as usual between 10am and 12noon, Monday to Thursday, but is due to return to the The Old School Community Centre, along with our Community Hub, at the beginning of November.
Compassionate Café – At the Methodist Church Hall, South Brent, until November
Second and fourth Saturdays of each month, 10am–11.30am. A welcoming place for people with experience of bereavement to come together. Just drop in to this free, volunteer-run café. This will return to the Hub in November.
Nail Clinic – At South Brent Village Hall, until November
Affordable nail-cutting clinics. Call 01364 700282 to book an appointment. The next clinics are 21st and 27th October at The Village Hall. The December clinics will be back at The Old School.

Monday Coffee Morning and Lunch Clubs
Coffee Mornings:10.30am–11.45am. Free but donations welcome.
Lunch Clubs / Lunch Cafés:12 noon. £6 for two delicious home-cooked courses and coffee.
Walk & Talk
Wednesday at the slightly later time of 11am for a gentle, volunteer-led stroll followed by sociable hot drinks and cake. Free to attend, but donations towards refreshments are welcome.
Friends Day Wednesday
Wednesday 2pm–4pm. Our dementia-friendly group enjoys entertainment, games, crafts and singing. A suggested donation, £3 includes refreshments. Speak to the team to join.
