 Food Shopping Assistance

Our village shops and volunteers are working hard to support our community. If possible please ask a friend, relative or neighbour to help you.

If you are healthy and able, please do your own (and a neighbour’s) shopping.

Please ONLY use this number or form if you are self-isolating or in the vulnerable group (over 70 or with underlying health issues).

The Village Shop and Foggs

If you are self-isolating, able to pay for your order, and your neighbours CAN’T help you, then fill in this form online:

Request Shopping Assistance        or leave us a message on     01364 800102

One bigger order is easier to cope with than many small orders. Please try to limit to one order a week per household.

The steps are:

1)   Submit your shopping order by phone or form (orders and deliveries won’t be processed on Sundays)
2)   Volunteers will pass your orders on to the requested shop who will pick and pack what is available.
3)   The shop will phone you for payment and give you an indication of the delivery time.
Note: you can designate a third party (family or friend)  to pay for you if necessary.
4)    Our volunteers will then deliver to your home.

They will knock on your door or window to acknowledge that we have arrived and leave your parcel at your door.
Please allow them to maintain a safe distance of at least 2 metres.
Our volunteers will follow careful hygiene protocols to minimise risk for you and themselves.
